Ainsley is a freelance documentary camera operator based in Naarm.
She has shot documentary content for media organisations including the ABC, as well as various corporate clients, notably the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation and the Heide Museum of Modern Art.

Last year, she shot the short documentary ‘No Prior Opportunity’ which screened at MIFF 2025 and The Other Film Festival.
‘Wisewoman’, her graduating work for the Masters of Documentary at the Victorian College of the Arts, screened at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival and was a finalist for Best Documentary at the Australian Women’s Film Festival.
Ainsley has a depth of experience on set, with a background in production crewing on short and feature films, television and TVC’s.
